Alfred Lord Tennyson, in his poem "Locksley Hall," wrote, "In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." If that is true, it surely can be said without fear of contradiction, "As autumn approaches the fancy of both young and old turn to thoughts of gridiron contests and football frenzy."
Following his studies at New Orleans Seminary in the early 1980s, Steve Ferguson spent one year on a church staff as the "minister of etcetera", as he describes the experience, doing anything assigned to him. That early experience with "etcetera" was good preparation for today as he serves a rural association as associational missionary.

We are blessed as Georgia Baptists to have the finest Baptist Collegiate Ministry in the Southern Baptist Convention. This incredible ministry is led by Dr. Joe Graham, who does an extraordinary work in leading all of the campus ministers and ministries on 52 college and university campuses across Georgia. Unless you are closely related to the multitude of ministries being conducted through your Georgia Baptist Convention, you may not be aware of all of the great things that are happening through BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministry).
