Ministerial Moves

 

Jackie Cabannis began serving as pastor at Salem Baptist Church in Sylvester March 1.

 

Rice Creek Baptist Church in Canon recently called Tommy Cleveland as pastor.

 

After 10 years of ministry at Perimeter Road Baptist church in Valdosta, G. Wayne Dorsett was recently called and began serving as pastor of Westside Baptist Church in Warner Robins.

 

David Fleming, former senior pastor of Warren Baptist Church in Augusta, accepted the call as senior pastor at Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas effective in January.

 

Brandon Fountain began serving as minister of youth and children at Lakeside Baptist Church in Jefferson Feb. 18. He comes to the church from Aiken, S.C., and is joined by his wife, Jessica.

 

Nate Goodwin resigned as associate pastor at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lavonia effective Feb. 25.

 

Steve Hester recently concluded 24 years of service to Fayetteville First Baptist Church. His roles at the church included serving as minister of music and administrative pastor.

 

Red Oak Baptist Church in Warwick called Glenn Hobby as pastor effective March 1.

 

Tom Howell recently resigned as minister of music and pastoral education at Royston Baptist Church in Hebron Association. The church honored him on Feb. 25.

 

Irby Jackson was called as minister of youth at Reed Creek Baptist Church in Hartwell effective Jan. 1. He is joined by his wife, Traci, and their two children.

 

Corey Pulliam began serving as pastor at Double Branches Baptist Church in Canon last November.

 

Second Baptist Church in LaGrange called Neil W. Stich as full-time pastor. He began serving Feb. 25 and is joined by his wife, Marsha, and their four sons.

 

Allen Wheeler began serving as minister of youth at Carnes Creek Baptist Church in Toccoa in January.

 

Rock Branch Baptist Church in Hebron Association called Ken Wright, of Anderson, S.C., as pastor effective March 1.
