Al Mohler’s observation about the possibility of homosexuality being biologically based and giving a solution to correct the condition is a mark of genius. This will bring both sides into answering some tough questions.
On the side of the gay rights group, they have to answer two questions: “Is homosexuality a disease?”, and if it is,” Should it be treated?” If they answer, “yes,” then they have to admit that homosexuality is wrong. And if it is wrong and do not prescribe to a treatment, they are now making a choice to stay homosexual.
But if they hold to the opinion that God made them this way then conservatives have to answer the question: “Does God makes people homosexual?” Mohler’s comment will definitely bring some open dialogue and clarity to this issue.
