Ten Georgians among New Orleans Seminary graduates

 

NEW ORLEANS — Ten students with links to Georgia took part in graduation ceremonies at New Orleans Seminary May 19.

Those receiving degrees were:

Jason Crawford, associate pastor of Lakeland Community Church in Forsyth County, who received a Master of Divinity;

John Fowler, minister of students at First Baptist Valdosta, who received a Master of Divinity;

Ronald Isbill, whose home church is Roswell Street Baptist in Marietta and received a Master of Divinity;

Janet Speer, consultant for Women’s Missionary Union and Women’s Ministry at the Georgia Baptist Convention, who received a Master of Divinity;

Thomasze Tso, a minister at North Atlanta Chinese Baptist Church in Marietta, who received a Master of Divinity;

Travis Graham, pastor of Liberty Baptist Churchi n Pinehurst, La., who counts Second Baptist in Warner Robins as his church home and received a Master of Divinity with specialization in biblical studies;

Jeremy Morton, pastor of Cross Point Baptist Church in Perry, who received a Master of Divinity with specialization in biblical studies;

James Cole, who will become minister to children and young adults at Pumpkinvine Baptist Church in Dallas in July, received a Master of Divinity with specialization in Christian Education;

Christian Parrish, who will become the coordinator of women’s programs for New Orleans Seminary and counts First Baptist Bremen as her church home, received a Master of Divinity with specialization in Christian Education; and

Erin Talley, who counts Carolyn Baptist in Dalton as her home church, received a Master of Divinity with specialization in Christian Education.
