Former New York executive director to lead Appalachee Association


MONROE J.B. Graham, longtime leader at the North American Mission Board and former executive director for the Baptist Convention of New York, was named interim associational missionary for Appalachee Association April 12.

Before going to New York, Graham served from 1976-1997 as assistant vice president of church extension at the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). Prior to that position he was an HMB appointed missionary in Maryland for ten years.

Graham is a graduate of Southwestern and Southern seminaries. His wife of 50 years, Areta, currently serves as a board member for Georgia WMU.
