Ministerial Moves

 

Mark Adams accepted a call as minister to youth and students at Stonecrest Baptist Church in Woodstock. He began his ministry May 1.

 

First Baptist Church Bloomingdale called Adrian K. Bell as minister of music and education. Bell began his ministry June 7. He formerly served as associate pastor of music and youth at First Unadilla. He is joined by is wife, Jaime, and son, Owen.

 

Todd Dionne began serving as associate pastor of education at Mountain View Baptist Church in Centennial Association June 14. Dionne is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College. He is joined by his wife, Kelly, and their three children, Rachel, Chloe, and Leah.

 

Brett Gilbert was called as minister of music at Shiloh Baptist Church in Upson on May 2.

 

Joshua Hughes accepted a call as associate pastor of Valley Brook Baptist Church in Decatur. He is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon and recently completed his first year at McAfee School of Theology in Atlanta. Hughes is joined by his wife, Jill.

 

Don Kirkland began serving as associate pastor of ministry at Mountain View Baptist Church in Centennial Association June 6. Kirkland and his wife, Dianne, served as East African missionaries with the International Mission Board for 28 years.

 

Silvercrest Baptist Church in Augusta called Robert “Duke” Storter as associate pastor of education and youth.

He began serving at Silvercrest June 20. Both Storter and his wife, Jennifer, are graduates of Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.

 

Faith Baptist Church in Fairburn called Jim Taylor as pastor May 16. Taylor comes to the church from Lawrenceville Baptist Church in Williamstown, Ky. He is joined by his wife, Melanie, and their three children, Jordan, Jacob, and Kian.

 

First Baptist Church Lithia Springs called Ryan Tyler as associate pastor to students. He began serving the church May 23. Bob Whitmire is pastor.
