ORLANDO, Fla. (BP) — Richard Land is scheduled to address the topic of immigration during the National Hispanic Fellowship of Southern Baptist Churches meeting on Sunday afternoon, June 13, in Orlando, Fla.
Land, president of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, will examine implications for Southern Baptists of the nation’s immigration issue.
He also will engage in a question-and-answer period with attendees after his address during the fellowship’s 2-5 p.m. meeting.
Julio Fuentes, director of information for the Hispanic fellowship, noted, “This unprecedented event will not only bring attention to a very important and relevant issue for all Southern Baptists as is the immigration issue, but it will also allow the Hispanic Baptists an opportunity to hear Dr. Land and for him to hear from them as well.”
For more information, contact Fuentes at (30) 206-7575 or go to the Hispanic fellowship’s website at www.confraternidad.net.
