NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP) — Year-to-date contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program are 3.36 percent below the same time frame last year, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and Chief Executive Officer Morris H. Chapman.
As of June 30, the year-to-date total of $145,520,420.41 for Cooperative Program (CP) missions is $5,063,463.04 behind the $ 150,583,883.45 received at the end of June 2009.
Designated giving of $172,972,414.30 for the same year-to-date period is 0.28 percent, or $487,480.36, ahead of gifts of $172,484,933.94 received at this point last year.
Monthly CP receipts totaled $12,660,727.93 while designated gifts received last month amounted to $14,963,272.53.
