Ministerial Moves


Richard Albritton was called as pastor of Merrillville Baptist Church near Thomasville last month after having served on an interim basis.


Eugene Bess was called as pastor at Mt. Stephens Baptist Church in White Plains in November.


After more than 16 years of ministry Suzanne Brown retired from her position as director of preschool/children’s ministries at Mount Harmony Baptist Church in Mableton.


On Dec. 12 Kay Campbell served her final day as preschool/children’s ministry director at First Baptist Eastman to begin a similar position at her home church of First Baptist New Port Richey, Fla.


Jered Day was recently called as pastor of Russellville Baptist Church near Forsyth. Previously, he served as minister to students and singles at First Baptist Blairsville. In addition to his position at Russellville, Day is the Baptist collegiate minister at Gordon College.


Members of Morningside Baptist Church in Bowen Association recently welcomed new pastor Warren Fox.


Klay Luke of Adel was unanimously called as pastor of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Quitman. He will begin Jan. 2.


First Baptist Church in Peachtree City recently introduced new interim pastor Dan Moran.


Paul Whitton was recently called as pastor of Spring Place Baptist Church in Chatsworth. He is joined by his wife Shelley and daughters, Maci and Bayley.
