On March 17 volunteers with the Georgia Baptist Association grilled 124 hamburgers for hikers making their way on the Appalachian Trail near Blood Mountain. Association missionary Andy Perryman reported conversations with hikers from Germany, Pennsylvania and Georgia. On March 22 the group cooked more than 200 burgers and 16 hotdogs near Blairsville with more opportunities to interact with people from different countries and states. Many would go on to accept tracts and free copies of the New Testament.
