Kim Griffin named circulation coordinator at The Index

 

Kim Griffin has been named circulation coordinator for The Christian Index, effective Dec. 1.

Griffin, who has served as administrative secretary for the office of Ethics and Public Affairs for nearly 10 years, will succeed Beverly Tye, who is retiring on Dec. 31. Tye will continue on a two-day part-time basis in 2005 with Griffin shouldering the primary responsibility for the position.

Griffin will maintain the publication's mailing list of 50,000 subscribers, as well as overseeing billing and accounts payable.

In her current position she has been responsible for budget preparation and helping to plan and execute the annual prayer breakfast for Georgia state senators, representatives, constitutional officers, and pastors. She has also been responsible for weekly updates on moral issue legislation on the office Web site via email and subsequent correspondence with legislators.

She and husband, Anthony, are members of Brookwood Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. Griffin is a native of Titusville, Fla.

The Griffins are parents of three children: Jessica, Keith, and Eric.
