Effective Oct. 24 Tim Bice resigned as pastor of East Albany Baptist Church in Mallary Association.


Casey Brown resigned as youth director at East Albany Baptist Church in Mallary Association effective Oct. 24.


Faith Baptist Church in Moreland called Wendell Burdette as pastor effective Nov. 28. Burdette comes to the church from North Coweta Baptist Church in Palmetto where he served as pastor for three years. He previously served Northside Baptist Church in Newnan and Grace Baptist Church in Sharpsburg. He is joined by his family.


Philadelphia Baptist Church in Lithonia called Sandor Cheka as youth pastor in September.


Russell Criswell was called as minister of families-students at Arlington Baptist Church and began his ministry Nov. 28. He is joined by his wife, Kim, and children, Christopher and Chandler.


Marc Curlee was called as pastor of Atco Baptist Church in Cartersville effective Nov. 28. Curlee comes to the church from Kansas Baptist Church in Carrolton Association and has also served several churches in Alabama. He is joined by his wife, Shelley, and their sons, Ben and Seth.


Mt. Harmony Baptist Church in West Metro Association called Kent Lewis as minister of education in October. He is joined by his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Kenlee. Bob Baxter is pastor.


Jeff McCammon resigned as associate pastor of First Baptist Lithonia in Stone Mountain Association. His last Sunday was Nov. 21.


Ben McFather began serving as pastor at Alamo Baptist Church in September. McFather comes to the church from Thomaston Road Baptist Church in Macon. He is joined by his wife, Evadne, and sons, David, John and Adam.


First Baptist Church Conyers in Stone Mountain Association called Barry Owens as minister of education effective Nov. 1.


Bill Owens began his ministry as pastor at Indian Creek Baptist Church in Stone Mountain Nov. 1.


Jerry A. Songer will complete a 13-month interim at The Rock Baptist Church in Rex Dec. 31.


Jason Van Nus of Hahira was called as youth director at First Baptist Church Quitman. Van Nus is a senior at Valdosta State University. He began his ministry at the church Aug. 11.


Adam Walker accepted a call as student and community minister at First Baptist Church Austell in West Metro Association, beginning his ministry Dec. 6. He is joined by his wife, Jessica. Johnny Foster is pastor.


Frank Winfrey was called as youth minister at Sargent Baptist Church on Oct. 24.


Adrian Zaragoza was called as pastor of Conyers Hispanic Church in Stone Mountain Association. He began his ministry Sept. 26.
